The program design for the MTV EXIT Asia Phase IV Project (2012) was undertaken with support from AusAID and USAID, who are the project co-funders. The MTV EXIT project is a large multi-media campaign focused on human trafficking in Southeast Asia. Author: A.Skuse.

The book Drama for Development: Cultural Translation and Social Change (2011) published by Sage is an edited collection of papers that examines radio and television dramas produced by the BBC World Service Trust in support of development, conflict reduction and social change. Editors: A. Skuse, M. Gillespie & G. Power. This work is part of the 'Tuning-in' UK Arts and Humanities (AHRC) funded project examining the wider role of the BBC World Service.

The book Developing Alternative Media Traditions in Nepal (2008) published by Lexington Books is a monograph that examines the development and use of community media in the hills of western Nepal. The book points to the potential and creativity of local media production and offers insights into the role of community media as a tool for development. Author: M. Wilmore.
