I am a domestic student, can I study at the Melbourne campus?
Am I classed as a domestic student or an international student?
Select your answers below to find out if you are classed as a domestic or international student.
Can I apply for course suspension in Trimester 3 (i.e. take a summer break between November and March)?
Course suspension is not routinely approved. If you have extenuating compassionate grounds and you are able to provide written evidence of these, you may apply for a course suspension. It may be granted if the circumstances are compelling.
Any suspension will have an impact on your confirmation of enrolment, and your student visa.
Can I condense my course into only 2 trimesters, to finish earlier?
The Degree Transfer Program and the Pre-Master's Program are three trimesters in length and cannot be completed in any shorter duration. The Pre-Master’s Program (Accelerated) is a two trimester program and can be completed in this shorter time-frame. We do not allow students to condense their course because the accelerated study load would impact the achievement of relevant learning outcomes.
Are any of the undergraduate or postgraduate courses offered at the Melbourne campus, available for Melbourne-based students to study online?
No – The degrees delivered in Melbourne are only available by class attendance and not offered online. However, the University of Adelaide does offer a selection of online degree in the study areas of MBA, Data Science, Psychology. To find out more visit Degree Finder.
