Mould identification: a virtual self assessment

Case history

A 10 year old Caucasian boy presented to the Dermatology Clinic with a kerion lesion of the scalp which had taken about 8 weeks to develop. Direct microscopy showed the presence of fungal elements and the culture shown below was isolated.
