Bruce's career in higher education began at the University of Queensland, where he performed a number of policy and administration roles.

  • Finance

    The Finance branch provides quality accounting services; enhanced procurement services; financial analysis and strategy; core services such as tax and compliance, budget reporting and short and long term business planning. The finance and procurement operating model supports the strategic goals of the University through the delivery of consistent, coordinated and consolidated services to the end user.

  • Legal & Risk

  • Human Resources

    Human Resources provides recruitment, superannuation and promotions support and advice to the University community and manages payroll, staff records, and workforce planning.

    Human Resources also encompasses the Health, Safety and Wellbeing unit, with responsibility for OHS programs and training.

  • Information Technology and Digital Services

    Information Technology and Digital Services (ITDS) provides information and communications technology services and support to the University of Adelaide community ranging from email accounts to online learning.

  • Infrastructure

    Infrastructure manages the University’s property portfolio and supports its built environment through planning, project management and maintenance services.

    Infrastructure also includes the Office of Sustainability (including Ecoversity).

  • Planning and Analytics

    The Planning and Analytics branch supports strategic planning and monitors University performance by the provision of reporting, data, analytics and survey capabilities to enable the achievement of the teaching and research objectives.
