Life Members
Honorary Life Membership may be conferred on ROCA members who have made outstanding contributions to the activities of the Roseworthy Old Collegians' Association.
Recommendations are made by the ROCA Committee to the ROCA Annual General Meeting. Honorary life membership is limited to a maximum of 2% of the ROCA membership.
David Spencer
The 2017 ROCA Honorary Life Member was David Spencer.
David Spencer graduated from Roseworthy Agricultural College with a Diploma in Agriculture in 1971 and a Diploma in Agricultural Technology in 1972. He spent seven years as a member of the ROCA Committee, serving as ROCA President for two years in 2012–2013 and 2013–2014.
For many years, he has championed the Roseworthy Collection maintained by the University of Adelaide Archives. With David's large volunteer time contribution, the University Archives has built up a fine collection of well catalogued Roseworthy records.
One of his personal achievements was the recording of spoken-word interviews with former Roseworthy students and staff, creating a unique audio and transcript archival collection.
