Apply for a Playford Trust 2024 Scholarship
Applications are now open for 2024 scholarships through the Playford Trust. Over 70 Scholarships are available and are valued from $5000 to $10,000 a year with selected Scholarships include summer vacation work placements. Undergraduates through to PhD are welcome to apply.
Scholarships are offered across the following priority areas:
- Advanced manufacturing and new technologies
- Water, energy and climate change
- Agriculture, aquaculture and food production
- Space and defence technologies
- Resources, energy and sustainability
- Health sciences and enabling technologies
Who is the Playford Trust?
The Playford Memorial Trust provides prestigious scholarships, awards and internships for high achieving students working in areas of strategic importance to the State. The aim is to help students make the most of their studies, achieve their potential and contribute to the State’s knowledge and research base.
Scholarships like these are considered prestigious. Not only do they provide valuable financial support and help reduce HECS debts, but they also significantly enhance a CV, open doors early on, and impress potential employers – and others – throughout careers.
