Competition: Name Your Music Festival

Let's celebrate the University's 150th year by creating a name for your music festival!

Are you a wordsmith, a creative koala, or an ideas person?

We need your ideas to name our student-led music festival at the North Terrace campus later this year.

The winner will receive a $100 Gift Card, tickets for two people, and a merch pack!

Your creative brief is as follows:

  1. Relevance: The festival name should reflect the spirit of music, creativity, and community within the University of Adelaide.
  2. Accessibility: The chosen name should be inclusive and appealing to a diverse audience, representing various music genres and interests.
  3. Uniqueness: It's essential to ensure that the selected name stands out and distinguishes the festival from other events.
  4. Memorability: The name should be catchy and memorable, making it easy for attendees to recall and share with others.
  5. Cultural Sensitivity: Considering the multicultural nature of the university community, it's important to avoid names that may unintentionally offend or exclude any group.

A group of finalists will be selected by UoA staff and the winning name will be voted by students.

The competition starts Friday 3 May 2024 and will close on Friday 17 May 2024 at 3:00 pm.
