The fashion industry is becoming more intelligent with the help of AI and machine learning. These technologies are transforming the industry, from the way that products are designed and manufactured, to the techniques used to market and sell.
Machine learning applications are also streamlining the shopping experience for customers, with AI making its way into fashion and retail apps. Join Dr Jamie Sherrah, Adjunct Associate Professor at the Australian Institute for Machine Learning, as he shares his insights into machine learning and deep learning and discusses examples of their use for fashion related applications. Dr Sherrah is also Chief Scientist at FTSY, an app that makes shopping for shoes easy and fun, and will provide a technical overview of how the app works.
