PhD student wins Best Paper prize at ACCV 2014

Zhenhua Wang, a final year PhD student at ACVT (now AIML) has won the prestigious Best Paper prize at the 12th Asian Conference on Computer Vision (ACCV14) in Singapore. His paper “A message passing algorithm for MRF inference with unknown graphs and its applications” was co-authored with Zhiyi Zhang and Geng Nan of the Northwest A&F University, China.

Zhenhua’s PhD supervisors are Prof. Anton van den Hengel, Dr. Qinfeng Shi and Dr. Anthony Dick of the ACVT (now AIML) and his research interests  include structured learning and inference, computer vision.
