Centre resesearchers at Science Alive! 2025

Centre researchers participated in the 2025 Science Alive! event, with postdoc Dr Chris Perrella, representing the Australian Institute of Physics, and PhD students Gabriel Britto Monteiro and Zane Peterkovic, representing the Adelaide Optica Chapter.

The Australian Institute of Physics (AIP) SA Branch had a station in the Oliphant Science Awards area called "Come and Try", where the event attendees could explore how light transmits information with their Laser Radio interactive exhibit and also uncover the physics behind why objects appear in colour.

The station was organised by Dr Chris Perrella and Dr Ben Sparkes, with support from Kate and Tegan from the South Australian Science Teachers Association (SASTA), who are long-time advocates of physics engagement at Science Alive.
