Higher risk of stroke from common heart disease
Australians are being warned of a higher risk of stroke caused by the nation’s most common heart rhythm disorder, atrial fibrillation.

Young Investigator Award Finalist for Heart Rhythm Society 2013

Centre for Heart Rhythm Disorders’ researcher and clinician, Dr Rajiv Mahajan has been selected as a finalist for this year’s Young Investigator Award at the Heart Rhythm Society. The Heart Rhythm Society conference, to be held in May in Denver, Colorado, is the global premier conference for arrhythmia research and practice. Many researchers from the Centre will be attending and presenting at the conference.
