Building cultural partnerships
The University is committed to extending our partnerships with the community and in particular, the cultural sector to deliver a multi-faceted events program which combines learning, research, culture, entertainment and the performing arts, on campus and in the heart of the city.
We welcome the opportunity to partner with other cultural, community and not-for-profit groups to:
- Animate the campus as a destination of cultural and community events
- Contribute to the economic development and sustainability of South Australia
- Raise aspirations about higher education pathways
- Deliver better informed policy-making, products and services
- Increase public engagement and cultural enrichment by sharing the latest research and knowledge

LOWITJA – A Life of Leadership and Legacy’ exhibition
This exhibition portrays the life and influence of the late Dr Lowitja O’Donoghue AC CBE DSG and will be held at the Kerry Packer Civic Gallery. Wednesday 4 June to Friday 25 July. Lumen Bar is back for another year, this time with a 1970s retro theme. The cosy pop-up bar and eatery coinciding once again with Illuminate Adelaide. Live vinyl DJs will be back, along with curated record sales, an updated menu, and new sunken lounges that invite conversation and community-building. Friday 4 to Sunday 20 July, 4–10.30 pm. Winter wellness: Maintaining your mental health webinar
The colder weather can be challenging on both physical and mental health. In this seminar, participants will learn about some of the common mental health challenges that people experience over the colder months and the benefits of health promoting behaviours such as connecting with others, practicing mindfulness and getting out into nature. Tuesday 22 July, 12–1 pm. Online. Register.

In just three minutes, participants will present their research, business model or innovative idea to try to convince a jury of solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time. The winners will have their travel to Canberra covered to make their pitch on the national stage. The Australian winner will then travel to Berlin for the Global Finale. Wednesday 30 July, 2–4 pm.
