Writing for The Conversation

The University of Adelaide is a member of The Conversation, which is the world's leading free, fact-based news source written by academics and edited by journalists.

Academic staff can publish on the platform and have access to the 632,000-plus unique daily visitors to the site.

It is a medium to showcase our academic and research initiatives and expertise: there is strong demand from staff to engage with this platform.

As part of the membership staff can leverage the ‘courses/in conversation’ pieces and podcasts to promote their discipline strengths and engage new audiences.

Jane Howard, Deputy Editor, Arts and Culture, explained to University of Adelaide academic staff the benefits of writing for The Conversation and how to pitch story ideas.

More information is available at The Conversation where University of Adelaide staff can sign up and take advantage of all the features available.
