WildVoice Youth Art for Conservation competition
Open to South Australian students in Years 7–12, This statewide art competition invites young people to raise awareness about wildlife crime and conservation through creative visual art. It’s an opportunity for students to make their voices heard on urgent environmental issues and be part of a major showcase at Adelaide Zoo this November. Entries close 15 October. More information.

Projects shine at industry awards
Four University construction projects were honoured at the recent Master Builders SA Excellence Awards. SHAPE Australia received two awards for Union House and the Quantum Materials MBE Laboratory. G-Force was recognised for the Urrbrae Gatehouse Relocation, and Harrold & Kite won for the Flinders Chase Visitor Centre on Kangaroo Island. These achievements reflect the outstanding work of our Infrastructure project teams and construction partners.
Australia Japan Innovation Fund Research Grant Program 2025-26
The AJIF fosters innovative bilateral collaborations between Australia and Japan. It seeks to elevate the profile of Australia – Japan collaboration in science, technology and innovation by driving forward groundbreaking research and development initiatives and fostering robust partnerships among academia, industry and the public sector. Council on Australia Latin America Relations 2025-2026 grant round
Expressions of interest for the COALAR 2025-2026 grant round are now open, with grants from $10,000 to $50,000 available for projects that will strengthen Australia-Latin America relations. Strategic priority areas are Culture and Entrepreneurship, Education and Research, Environment and Energy Transition, First Nations, and Mining, Mining Equipment, Technology and Services.
