Lumen magazine: the sustainability issue

magazine cover

The latest issue of Lumen – the University of Adelaide’s major magazine – is out now.

The theme of the issue is sustainability. A more sustainable future is a global imperative, and this issue examines how we at the University are playing our part to make a difference.

The cover features alumna Tiahni Adamson, winner of the University’s Tirkapena Indigenous Award 2022. Tiahni’s life now involves a strong focus on sustainability, including her work with a seaweed which can help reduce methane production when fed to livestock.

From the food we eat, to what we drink, the movies we watch, and the pets we own. It highlights significant research and introduces special new features – including book and wine reviews, new writing, music, and a colourful display of vibrant life on campus.

It celebrates the work and achievements of alumni, staff and students in Australia and around the world.
