Student Engagement Committee
The Student Engagement Committee (SEC) provides a collaborative forum for student representatives to discuss a broad range of issues that aim to enhance the overall educational experience and engagement of students.
SEC serves as an inclusive and supportive environment that is dedicated to elevating student success, fostering active participation, and contributing to each student's University journey.
Our primary focus lies on empowering students via:
1. Enhancing Student Voice – We champion the cause of enhancing student voice, ensuring that every student's perspective is heard, valued, and acted upon.
2. Student Involvement – We actively encourage student involvement in co-design and co-delivery, ensuring that students play a central role in shaping their university journey.
3. Supporting student-centred Initiatives – We are committed to supporting initiatives that revolve around students, their needs, and their aspirations, placing the student experience at the heart of everything we do.
4. Improving Communication Channels – We strive to create effective and transparent communication channels that facilitate dialogue and information exchange between students and the University.
5. Evaluating and Assessing Student Experiences – We work diligently to evaluate and assess student experiences, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Submitted feedback provides the opportunity to voice your opinions, and have it raised at the next monthly Committee meeting.
You are welcome to submit feedback anonymously. Where it is not anonymous, an update will be provided to the submitter following the Committee meeting.
We appreciate your invaluable feedback, and recognise that it plays a critical role in improving the overall student experience, and fosters a stronger sense of community and belonging within our University.
