End of Year Award Ceremony

The Student Leaders End of Year Awards Ceremony celebrates the incredible contributions of our student leaders and their impact on the university community. Developed in collaboration with students, these awards recognise those who have gone above and beyond in their leadership roles, helping shape a vibrant and inclusive campus experience.

Student graduating

Everyone—whether you are a student, professional, or academic staff member—is invited to nominate outstanding student leaders who have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the university community. There is no limit to the number of student leaders you can nominate, and we encourage you to recognise the individuals who have inspired, supported, or led others throughout the year.

Nominations are open to all currently enrolled undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students. Each nomination provides an opportunity to highlight the diverse ways students contribute to the university through leadership, collaboration, innovation, and community-building.

Once the nomination period closes, all submissions will be reviewed by a panel consisting of staff, academics, senior university leaders, and representatives from Medibank. Using a clear assessment rubric, the panel will carefully evaluate each nomination to select the final award recipients.

Winners will be announced and presented with their prizes at the ceremony on Thursday 18th September.

Nominations close: Thursday 4th September at 5pm
