Volunteering

Be part of the University's vibrant and diverse volunteer community.

In-person volunteering postponed

The University’s greatest priority is the health and safety of our wonderful and diverse community. To minimise the risk of COVID-19 exposure, and in line with Government advice, we are postponing in-person volunteering until further notice.

Online volunteering opportunities are still available.

The University will continue to follow Government advice and monitor the situation as it evolves.

Volunteer groups

The University has more than 3,000 volunteers and 60 volunteer groups across North Terrace, Roseworthy and Waite campuses and the wider community. We welcome people of all ages, cultures and abilities to participate as volunteers.

Volunteering can enrich your University experience. Our volunteers learn new skills, make social and professional connections and boost their employment prospects by volunteering with the University.

The Volunteer Achievement Awards celebrate and recognise the exceptional contributions our volunteers make to the University community.
