Tarnanthi Art Fair

Tarnanthi Art Fair

Join us at the Tarnanthi Art Fair this October in Union House, North Terrace Campus.

This in-person only event is a unique chance to meet Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, learn about their world and ideas, and purchase works directly from individuals and Art Centres from across Australia. It’s a rare opportunity to support ethical art production and take home a piece of contemporary Indigenous creativity.

Exclusive to Adelaide, this popular art event brings together creative works in diverse mediums, produced by hundreds of established and emerging artists. Works for sale include paintings, ceramics, sculpture, woven works, jewellery, textiles, clothes and homewares.

Aside from the Art Fair, Tarnanthi also includes an extensive program of artist and curator talks, tours, performances, film screenings, creative activities and workshops, as well as dedicated events for students and educators. Staff, students and members of the public are invited to the launch of Tarnanthi 2025 at 6pm on Thursday 16 October at the Art Gallery of South Australia.
