Commendations for the Enhancement and Innovation of Student Learning

Up to seven Commendations are awarded annually to staff demonstrating outstanding practice in learning and teaching. Learn more about the six application categories, read submissions from former recipients, and access a range of resources to assist with your individual or team application. New food outlet in the Braggs foyer

Tempeh is a poké bowl food outlet in the Braggs foyer (near the entrance to the MLS building). Tempeh also serve savoury snacks, vegan and gluten free deserts, matcha soft serve, and single origin filter coffee. Open 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Host families wanted

The English Language Centre is seeking staff members who can host a student during our January and February periods. Hosting a student is a rewarding experience and families will be reimbursed $360 per week in 2024 to assist with expenses. Contact homestay@adelaide.edu.au. More information

Professor Corinna Van Den Heuvel is the Head of the School of Biomedicine and the Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences. Corinna’s contribution to higher education has been recognised internationally with her appointment in 2018 as a Senior Fellow of Advance HE.

Award from the American Society for Nutrition

Professor Paula Moynihan receiving her award from Dr John Courtney, CEO of the American Society for Nutrition.

Professor Paula Moynihan (Adelaide Dental School), was recently awarded the American Society for Nutrition Foundation’s Roland L Weinsier Award for Excellence in Medical/Dental Nutrition Education. The award was presented at the Nutrition23 meeting in Boston and recognises an outstanding career with innovations in medical dental education.
