Celebrating our colleagues: Ben Sparrow
Associate Professor Ben Sparrow was awarded a 2021 University Award for exceptional leadership in the ‘A Culture of Impact and Excellence’ category. The selection committee particularly noted Ben’s leadership style in managing a diverse and multi-disciplinary team encouraging them to think as one team, communicating with influence, and actively encouraging his team to attend a workshop on the Staff Values and Behaviour Framework.
Australasian Academic Integrity Network Forum
Academic staff are encouraged to register early for the Australasian Academic Integrity Network Forum on Friday 22 September. This free online event, co-hosted by the University of Adelaide and Uni SA, provides a forum for sharing knowledge, best practice, and key questions in the challenging and fast-paced field of academic integrity.

September graduation ceremonies
The September graduation ceremonies will be held between Tuesday 19 and Thursday 21 September in Bonython Hall. Academic staff are encouraged to register to attend as part of the Academic Procession by Friday 8 September. Staff helpers are also required to assist at the ceremonies. Register here.
Review of the Undergraduate Arts Programs
The University is currently undertaking a review of the Undergraduate Arts Programs. Education Quality invites staff to make a confidential submission on matters relevant to the Terms of Reference. Written submissions should be provided to eq@adelaide.edu.au before Monday 11 September, 5 pm.
