Global Youth Committee
Faculty of ABLE student Emily Parsons is one of 17 young leaders nationally selected to sit on a Global Youth Committee established by the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership and chaired by Julia Gillard. The Committee aims to bridge the gap between the experiences of young people and the policies that dictate their lives.

Dr Josh Curtis, alumnus and Lecturer in the Adelaide Law School, returned to the University of Adelaide after many years travelling, living, studying and working abroad.
Templeton Adam Smith Tercentenary Fellowship
Professor Lisa Hill has been made a Templeton Adam Smith Tercentenary Fellow, one of eight worldwide. Their work will be directed at a global audience who will connect the University of Glasgow with worldwide venues to celebrate Smith around the world.

Congratulations to Professor Sarah Wheeler (School of Economics and Public Policy), who received the Jill Hudson Award for Environmental Protection in the SA Environment Awards. Oxford expert to lead school of education

Professor Susan James Relly has been appointed as the new Head of the University’s School of Education. She is joining us from the University of Oxford where her last role was Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Associate Head (Education) in the Social Sciences Division.
