MS Teams training courses
Multiple sessions are available to learn more about Microsoft Teams features and applications. Book now for Teams Welcome and Overview covering basic functions, M365 Platform and Applications focusing on efficiency, Teams for collaboration for customised use within your team, and Teams and M365 advanced applications for more powerful processes.
'New' Teams replacing 'Classic' Teams
Starting mid-July 2024, Microsoft is removing the NEW label from the current 'new' Teams application and will be named Microsoft Teams (with no additional labels). This change will occur for all platforms and users. The application itself is not changing, just the name. More information.
Email security
The University system handles around 400,000 emails every day. While some of these are malicious and can cause harm to you and the University, and are blocked, some may get through. Audio Visual refresh
Aligned to work being done to maintain excellence in learning and teaching, identified common teaching spaces across the Waite, Roseworthy and North Terrace campuses, including AHMS, are scheduled for a refresh of AV equipment between 27 May and 19 July. More information.
Edit PDF files with Adobe Creative Cloud
University of Adelaide paid staff (excluding titleholders, visitors and affiliates) have access to Adobe Creative Cloud Pro, featuring tools for editing PDF files, graphic design, video editing and more. Stay vigilant against phishing
Phishing, where a fake email is used to elicit a link click or trick you into entering your credentials, is becoming more common and sophisticated. Always be on the lookout for suspicious emails. If something looks suspicious, please report it. Visit Email Security for more information.
Zoom training
Online training sessions are available for Advanced Zoom functionality and Using Zoom for virtual classrooms. A range of days and times are available for both and training is conducted online, via Zoom.
New and improved “UofA Guest” network
The “UofA Guest” WiFi network has been upgraded as part of our network modernisation work. This now allows for a simpler and quicker self-registration process and provides an improved internet connection on campus. More information and support.
