Changes to the University’s Contracts Register
Contracts and agreements are required by Policy to be lodged as a ‘Legal Document’ and registered in an Approved Contracts Register. From 16 October, Content Manager will become an approved Contracts Register and replace the register provided by Legal Services. New insurance broker
The University of Adelaide has recently appointed AON as its insurance broker. There are no changes to our insurance coverage. Motor claims and travel top-up requests can be emailed to uoa@aon.com. For other queries and more information, visit the website.
Consultation on Risk Management Policy
The Risk Management Policy has been reviewed, and is now available for consultation and feedback via the draft policies webpage until COB Friday 6 October.
External requests for personal information
If any staff member receives correspondence from or is contacted by a third party (e.g. a lawyer, SAPOL, AHPRA, Ombudsman SA, etc) requesting the release of personal information of a University staff member or student, past or present, you should immediately forward a copy of the correspondence to helpdesklegal@adelaide.edu.au and call Legal Services Branch for advice on 8313 7669 or 8313 0085.

Legal and Risk Branch split
Effective Monday 22 August 2022, the Legal and Risk Branch split into two new branches: Legal Services Branch; and Risk Services Branch.
