TEQSA: Managing external actors on campus
TEQSA has released a sector update on Managing external actors on campus to support providers to assure themselves that they meet their obligations under the HESF. TEQSA identifies strategies from emerging practice within the sector in the areas of Critical Incident Management, Education and Training, Campus Management, Policy and Governance and Legal and Compliance.
Record keeping responsibilities
As we prepare for Day 1 of Adelaide University, all staff are reminded of their responsibilities under the State Records Act (1997). University records (digital or physical) must be preserved and not destroyed without authorisation. For guidance and support, refer to the Recordkeeping Guide for Transition, or contact Records Services.
Risks posed by illegal academic cheating services
TEQSA is concerned that illegal academic cheating services are posing a cyber security risk to higher education providers, through systematic targeting of learning management systems (LMS), and resulting in threats to students, academic and professional staff, research and information security, and have published the Sector update: Cyber security and associated risks posed by illegal academic cheating services.
