Non-allowable Expenses Procedures
The University’s financial contribution to end of year functions has been revised and amended in the Non-allowable Expenses Procedures.
Travel Policy and Procedures
Amendments to the Travel Policy and Procedures have been approved by the Policy Custodian and available on the Policy website.
Consultation on Risk Management Policy
The Risk Management Policy has been reviewed, and is now available for consultation and feedback via the draft policies webpage until COB Friday 6 October.
Transnational Education Policy
The revised Transnational Education Policy was approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 6 September, becoming effective immediately. The policy outlines the principles that underpin the University’s transnational education arrangements.
Open Access Policy
The revised Open Access Policy was approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 7 August, becoming effective immediately. Information for researchers concerning options for publishing their research outputs Open Access can be found here, which includes submission guidelines for the University Research Repository AR&S.
Review of Postgraduate Programs in Engineering
The University is currently undertaking a Review of the Postgraduate Programs in Engineering. Education Quality invites staff to make a confidential submission on matters relevant to the Terms of Reference. Mark and Grade Schemes changes
The Withdraw Fail (WF) grade will no longer contribute to the Grade Point Average (GPA) calculation but will remain a Fail grade for the purposes of Academic Progress (these changes take effect from 1 January 2024).
Reasonable Adjustments for Students requiring Disability Support
The revised Reasonable Adjustments to Learning, Teaching and Assessment for Students requiring Disability Support Policy was approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 7 August 2023, becoming effective immediately.
