ARC Mid-Career Industry Fellowship

Professor Kerry Wilkinson (School of Agriculture, Food and Wine) has been awarded $1,141,640 over four years, as part of the Australian Research Council’s Mid-Career Industry Fellowships scheme, to investigate the potential winemaking applications of membrane filtration. More information.
Energy Sector – Environment award

Associate Professor Manouchehr Haghighi (School of Chemical Engineering) and his team have won the Energy Sector – Environment award at the Energy and Mining Premier's Awards.
Worldwide finalist: Dr Lulu He

Dr Lulu He (School of Architecture and Civil Engineering) was recently one of six worldwide finalists (and the only one from Australia) for the United Nations Disaster Risk Reduction Rising Star Award.
Animal ethics submission deadlines
The final 2023 animal ethics submission deadline for the Faculty of HMS was Sunday 5 November for 7 December meeting. The first 2024 submission deadline for Faculty of SET applications is 5 January for 1 February meeting and the Faculty of HMS applications is 26 January for 22 February meeting. More information.

The University is currently undertaking a Review of the Postgraduate Programs in Engineering. Education Quality invites staff to make a confidential submission on matters relevant to the Terms of Reference.
