The Adelaide Law School offers a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) which can be completed as a single degree or as part of a double degree program. The compulsory requirements of the Law degree ensure a thorough grounding in common law principles and legal methodology while a wide choice of elective courses range from the commercial (eg, Intellectual Property, and Taxation Law) to liberal and socially-oriented topics (such as Family Law and Legal Theory). The Law degree provides graduates with a rigorous knowledge of the areas of substantive law necessary to undertake legal practice within a broad liberal education.
