APRU Food Security Webinar

The University is a member of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). Together with APRU, and the National Taiwan University, the University of Adelaide is co-hosting Session 2 of the APRU Food Security Webinar Series 2024, which aims to delve into regional technological advancements in the areas of precision agriculture and agritech solutions for prolonging food shelf life. Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes

This two-part epic is a complex, metaphorical and symbolic examination of sexuality in 1980s USA by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning playwright Tony Kushner. Playing over four weekends, Angels in America is a two-part play, presented in two halves over two separate performances. Thursday 2 to Saturday 25 May, 1 pm, 2 pm and 7 pm. The Little theatre. Lunchtime Concert: A Majestic Affair

Brahms - Piano Quartet No. 2 in A major, Op. 26 Brahms drew clear inspiration from Schubert in this four-movement work which is particularly famous for being one of the longest piano quartets ever written. Featuring staff members Michael Ierace, Stephen King and Thomas Marlin, with ASO concertmaster Kate Suthers. Friday 3 May, 1.10–2 pm. Elder Hall, North Terrace campus. $20.
