Students to benefit from SACOME membership

industry networking

A group of 80 science and engineering students at the University of Adelaide will benefit from membership of the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy (SACOME) thanks to the generosity of the Institute for Mineral and Energy Resources and SACOME.

While SACOME memberships have been available to University of Adelaide students in the past, the take up rate has more than doubled in 2020.

Chief Executive Officer of SACOME Rebecca Knol said "It is fabulous news that we have so many students wanting to be part of industry conversations and this opens up the opportunity for student only events”.

In addition to student only events, where students will have the opportunity to network with industry, some SACOME events will be available to students at reduced prices.
