Advanced Mathematical Economics III
Resources for Advanced Mathematical Economics III - for more information about the course, please see course outlines.
Assumed knowledge
There is quite a lot of mathematical notation in Advanced Math Economics III.
The MLC has a maths notation seminar with associated resources to help you understand and use mathemacial notation.
Optimisation
David attempts to make sense of the Envelope Theorem, and various results relating to the Utility Maximising Problem and the Expenditure Minimising Problem, in particular, Slutsky's Equation.
Please note: these topics may not be in AMEIII any more, so check your own lecture notes.
Multivariable calculus resources
The course outline for Advanced Math Economics III says that multivariable calculus is part of the course. There is Multivariable Calculus in the course Maths 1B and the resources may be useful. I can't be sure at this stage how this lines up with your course, so do check against your own lecture notes.
