Falling Walls Lab Adelaide

In just three minutes, participants will present their research, business model or innovative idea to try to convince a jury of solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time. The winners will have their travel to Canberra covered to make their pitch on the national stage. The Australian winner will then travel to Berlin for the Global Finale. Wednesday 30 July, 2–4 pm. Quantum Frontiers and the Search for Majorana Fermions, presented by Professor Sergey Frolov

Professor Frolov is a distinguished experimental physicist at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on electronic transport in low-dimensional nanostructures, including nanowires and two-dimensional electron gases. Professor Frolov is deeply involved in quantum computing, working with superconducting qubits, quantum dots, and topological states. Monday 4 August, 6.15–8 pm.
