Update to COVID Leave Entitlements
The end date for the special COVID leave provisions for continuing, fixed term and casual staff has been brought forward to 14 October, in line with the National Cabinet’s decision to eliminate the requirement for self-isolation for anyone with COVID-19 from that date. In line with our duty of care and with regard to the health and safety of our staff and students, the University requires those who are unwell with COVID or flu-like symptoms to not attend onsite.
Statement on Iran
It is with sadness that we have witnessed the violent events in Iran over the past week. I extend our deepest sympathies to our Iranian students and staff, and to members of our University community with Iranian backgrounds or who have family and friends in the region.
