Vinnies Christmas Appeal Toy Drive

A University tradition leading up to Christmas is to collect toys for disadvantaged children under the Giving Tree in the foyer of the Mitchell Building. Please leave your gifts unwrapped under the Giving Tree by midday, Monday 11 December 2023.

SA Health Young Professional of the Year 2023

Associate Professor Alexandre Santos has been awarded Young Professional of the Year 2023 at the SA Health Awards and was also named in the Advertisers' 20 of South Australia's most influential young guns

Distinguished Service Award

Lindsay Richards

Professor Lindsay Richards (Adelaide Dental School) was recently presented with a Distinguished Service Award by the federal president of the Australian Dental Association at a special ceremony here in Adelaide.

Australian Academy of Humanities Fellowship

Professor Katie Barclay (School of Humanities) has been elected as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities. Katie is Head of Historical and Classical Studies and Co-Director of the Fay Gale Centre for Research in Gender. She has a particular specialisation in the History of Emotions, and its intersections with gender, and family life.
