Adelaide University receives CRICOS registration
On 28 May, the co-Vice Chancellors announced the exciting news that following an extensive application process, Adelaide University obtained the necessary TEQSA approvals for registration as an Australian University higher education provider. This registration is for the maximum period of 7 years to 22 May 2031.
This week Adelaide University has taken a step closer to delivering programs and courses to a new generation of learners. The University has received TEQSA approval for Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), until 22 May 2031 to align with our TEQSA registration.
CRICOS registration enables Adelaide University to go-to-market in July 2024 as planned to market the new University to international students for commencement in 2026. This approach aligns with our ambitions to reach key international markets, allowing sufficient time for international students to consider Adelaide University as a study destination of choice. Further program offerings will follow progressively, aligned to when domestic student applications open in 2025.
Staff should continue to use the existing institution’s TEQSA and CRICOS numbers. The new Adelaide University TEQSA and CRICOS numbers will only be used by select authorised staff at this time.
This is another important milestone, and we would like to thank all staff for their hard work and commitment, as we continue progress on this transition together.
