The Research and Research Training Domain is holding a virtual town hall on Thursday 9 May from 3:00 – 4:00 pm via Zoom. This event is open to all staff who are interested in staying informed on key research activities leading up to our transition to the new Adelaide University. We will share updates on core areas of focus and provide you with an opportunity to ask questions in an open Q&A.

Thank you to everyone who attended one of the recent virtual staff town halls hosted by the co-Vice Chancellors. We covered some significant matters relating to the transition to Adelaide University, including a potential high-level functional structure for Adelaide University and potential approaches for the transfer of employment of staff to the new institution.

New AU Interim Staff Intranet
Today, we are launching the new Adelaide University Interim Staff Intranet, which will become the central repository for sharing information across our staff communities as we continue to move through the transition period.
Introducing our Learning Management System
The Curriculum Domain is pleased to announce Canvas as the Learning Management System (LMS) for Adelaide University, which was informed by subject matter experts from across both the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia.

Provost's message
On 8 March 2024, through the operation of the Adelaide University 2023 Act, the new Adelaide University was established. This landmark moment is another significant step towards the commencement of our new institution on 1 January 2026.
Culture Survey: Thank you – that’s a wrap!
Our first cross institutional Culture Survey closed last week, after a three-week period when staff were encouraged to provide their feedback.

Co-creation update: Curriculum challenges extended
The Common Core and Learning Environment and Digital Experience challenges are now open on IdeaPlace for one more week, until midnight Friday 8 March. If you haven’t already, jump in and post your ideas, comment and vote on ways that we can best prepare graduates for future success and provide students with a nation-leading learning experience at the new Adelaide University.
