AU Strategic Conference Sponsorship Fund
To help build stronger research academic and engagement networks, this fund offers all AU staff the opportunity to apply for up to $20,000 for events/conferences that: Highlight our academic and research excellence and commitment to innovation to global audiences (through international guests and speakers), strongly align with one or more of our Signature Research Themes and/or Adelaide University’s broader strategic ambitions, including equity and access, and student experience, and are held in Adelaide, and profile Adelaide University campuses. All IT support requests
All IT support requests must now be raised via the IT Interim Support page or by calling IT on (08) 8302 5000. To support the transition, the legacy portals and UniSA IT Help Desk email will remain in place until Wednesday 5 November, but any requests will be redirected to the new system. After 5 November, these systems will no longer be available.
All staff town hall
This will be an online event, hosted by the co-Vice Chancellors where staff will get transition updates and an opportunity to ask questions. Tuesday 28 October 2 pm–3 pm. Via Zoom.
IT Support pop-up in Brookman
A temporary IT support pop-up has been set up in the City East library in the Brookman Building on the corner of North Terrace and Frome Street for staff from UniSA and the University of Adelaide to help with any IT enquiries. The pop-up support desk is available from 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday until Friday 17 October.
Adelaide University Wellbeing and Safety policy open for consultation
The draft Adelaide University Wellbeing and Safety policy and associated procedures are open for staff consultation on the interim staff intranet until Monday 20 October 2025. Feedback can be submitted to: staff.policy.enquiries@adelaideuni.edu.au.

Research and Research Training Domain Town Hall this week
The next Research and Research Training Domain Town Hall will be held on Wednesday 1 October, 2.30–3.30 pm. Join this online session where we will introduce some of our newly appointed leaders in the Research Services and Graduate Research functions. We’ll also update you on the latest work that is underway on research grant applications, Graduate Research Student recruitment and transition, and how our new Adelaide University Signature Research Theme Strategies will be led. AU Research Ethics and Compliance Committee roles expression of interest
As we move towards the establishment of Adelaide University, academic staff are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for the roles of Chair or Deputy Chair on the University’s research ethics and compliance committees: two higher-risk Human Research Ethics Committees (HREC), three Animal Ethics Committees (AEC), and one Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). Further details including the Duty Statements and committee Terms of Reference are available via the PageUp Platform. Applications for these roles close at 11:59pm, Sunday 14 September.
