Australian-Japan Innovation Fund grants
Global Engagement is pleased to advise that the Australian-Japan Innovation Fund (AJIF) is now accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for its 2024-25 research grant program until Thursday 31 October 2024. The EOI process is simple and requires minimal paperwork.
AJIF's mission is to foster collaborations between academic institutions, industry, and government in both Australia and Japan, supporting individuals who are shaping the bilateral relationship through these partnerships. One key way AJIF does this is through its project grant programs.
Grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 are available under eight key themes. These grants offer a valuable opportunity to launch new research projects or extend existing projects with Japanese and Australian counterparts. They can support research at various stages, from design and experimentation to prototype testing, and also facilitate researcher exchanges to foster long-term partnerships between diverse research teams.
The EOI process is simple and requires minimal paperwork. Following an initial review, AJIF will invite shortlisted projects to submit full applications. Invitations to submit full applications will be sent in mid-November. Submit by Thursday 31 October 2024.
