2024 Australian Awards for University Teaching
Associate Professor Claudia Szabo (School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences) received an AAUT Award for Teaching Excellence and Associate Professor Benjamin McCann (School of Humanities) received an AAUT Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.

The vibrancy on our campuses is palpable and increasing, and I’m looking forward to welcoming returning students and to seeing many new faces around our grounds. O’Week officially began yesterday, and the range of activities provides an introduction to all that campus life has to offer, along with many opportunities to make connections.

Casual engagement essentials series
The HR Branch is running a series of education sessions titled Casual Engagement Essentials. Attendance is encouraged for timesheet validators, supervisors and hiring managers of casual staff but is open to anyone else involved in the casual engagement process.
