Join the Library to learn more about creating or rolling over an existing list, adding items and editing your list, and embedding your readings into your MyUni course. There will be time for questions during the session. Thursday 6 February, 10–11 am. Online. Register.
Library information literacy workshops
The Library offers tailored information literacy workshops for undergraduate, honours and postgraduate by coursework courses in all disciplines. Contact the Library’s Learning Support Team liaisonlibs@adelaide.edu.au if you are interested in the team delivering a workshop to your students.
Create a course reading list
The University Library supports access to course reading material via the Course Readings tool in MyUni. Create or rollover your existing reading lists as early as possible, so students can access course materials from day one. For details on resources to add, see our latest blog post.
Register for Visualise Your Thesis
Registrations are now open for the 2024 Visualise Your Thesis competition. HDRs are challenged to present their research in a 60 second visual display. First prize wins $1,000 and the winner will go on to compete in the international online competition. To register your interest, visit Visualise Your Thesis.

Feedback is sought from the University community on draft revisions to the Information Management and Governance Policy and a new accompanying framework. Feedback and comments can be submitted via the draft policies page by close of business Friday 26 April.

Library workshop: Read and Publish

Images of Learning and Teaching exhibition
The Images of Learning and Teaching competition highlights innovation at the University of Adelaide. View this year's submissions at the Festival of Learning and Teaching event and on Level 4 of the Hub from Tuesday 31 October. Voting for the People's Choice Award winner will open online on Monday 30 October.

This webinar will cover the updated University Open Access Policy, the different types of Open Access (OA) publishing currently available, what options are available for publishing your own work, Open Access, OA licensing and copyright, and things to look out for in Open Access publishing agreements. Changes to the submission requirements for the Images of Learning and Teaching competition have been made recognising the widespread use of smartphones for classroom photography. Capture the spirit of education through the lens of your smartphone. Submissions close on Friday 1 September.
