Virtually everything we do in Infrastructure is designed to make people’s work or study life better. Bringing people together is important, and even more so in the transition to Adelaide University. We are developing a fluid and intuitive gateway between UniSA’s City East and our own North Terrace campus.

Publishing in teaching and learning workshop
Discover how to publish Scholarship of Teaching and Learning research effectively. Learn about journal selection, review criteria, abstracts, and create engaging titles and keywords. Chancellor's end-of-year message
I am writing to express my gratitude to all staff for their dedication, vision and extraordinary efforts during 2024. These efforts have seen the University continue to shine on the world stage at a time of historic change.
Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors
Professor Michael McLaughlin AM (School of Agriculture, Food and Wine) has been elected as a Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors (NAI). He is the fourth University of Adelaide expert to be honoured by the NAI as a Fellow, joining Professor Peter Høj AC, Professor Anton Middelberg, and Professor Nelson Tansu.

Vice-Chancellor's message
This has been a year of many highlights and I want to take the opportunity to thank all staff for your many contributions throughout the year. The hard work and commitment to deliver our core business and get us in good shape as we head towards Day One of Adelaide University is astounding, and I am very grateful for that.
HR Service Centre early closure
The HR Service Centre will be closed for phone and email queries from 1 pm Monday 23 December and will reopen at 8.30 am on Thursday 2 January 2025.
2025 Annual Meeting of the University Community
On Monday 17 February 2025, The University Council will convene the Annual Meeting of the University Community. This is an opportunity for staff, students and graduates of the University to ask questions and to hear from the Vice-Chancellor and the Chancellor.

What we’re trying to do with our events is take a lot of the elements that make the University of Adelaide great, and be creative with our researchers, professors and academics, and incorporate their expertise into innovative events that inspire, and ignite curiosity.
Australia India Women Researchers’ Exchange Program
Dr Indu Bala (School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences) has been awarded a fellowship as part of the Australia India Women Researchers’ Exchange (AIWE) Program. Dr Bala will collaborate with Dr B R Ambedkar (National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar) to develop an advanced model to optimise urban rainwater harvesting systems. This partnership aims to enhance sustainable water management through innovative research.
