Dalgona-esque oatmeal breakky

I’m quite late to the Dalgona hype. I had to even look up what a Dalgona coffee is, which it turns out is a creamy, whipped coffee on top of milk underneath. All the searching led me to this oatmeal recipe which tastes like a whipped coffee crossed with a Reese’s peanut butter cup.

There are three main layers to this creamy breakfast.

  • Oatmeal layer—boil oats with chia seeds, almond milk, and sweetener of choice
  • Chocolate whip layer—whisk together vegan chocolate powder instant coffee, and coconut yoghurt
  • Peanut butter whip layer—whisk together peanut butter and coconut yoghurt
