We may not know everything about the specific content of your assignments, but we know a great deal about the skill of academic writing and how to meet the expectations of your assignments.

Hello! I am Rebekah.
I am Coordinator of the Writing Centre.
I have an MA and PhD in Creative Writing and a BA in Aboriginal Studies. I’ve taught English and Creative Writing at Universities in the United States and Australia, as well as in schools and libraries.
I love short stories, swimming and travel adventures.
I'm Michael, a research student in Philosophy working on a thesis investigating the nature and logic of indeterminacy.
In my spare time I like to do indoor rock climbing, read graphic novels, and write at ungodly hours of the morning.
I look forward to meeting you here at the Writing Centre.
Hello! I’m Iran.
I am in my third year of a PhD in music, studying the sound of the Japanese koto. I play electronic music when I’m not on campus, and I tutor in music and in writing. I'm interested in the intersection of different disciplines and how they can compliment each other.
I love cooking with my friends and making collaborative artworks.

I finished my PhD in urban history and theory in 2017, and now teach in the School of Architecture and Built Environment. I am passionate about how cities have formed throughout history.
In my spare time I like to garden, read and play with my dog.

After completing a double degree in International Studies and Development Studies, Honours in Anthropology and Masters in Linguistics, I am now undertaking a PhD in Linguistics with a focus on English grammar in specific cultural contexts.

I’m a PhD candidate in Creative Writing with a previous PhD in English literature. I also have a BEd and teach writing in schools and arts organisations.

I completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in experimental and theoretical physics, and am now a postgraduate student researching and writing about high-energy particles.
In my spare time I love hiking, visiting the oldest second-hand bookshops I can find and staying up too late writing short stories.
