Partnering for success

The newly established Integration Management Office (IMO) at 108 North Terrace is ramping up as we progress transition planning for the potential Adelaide University.

The IMO is building resources and capabilities and has been bolstered by the arrival of our new Integration and Transformation Partner, Deloitte. Following a rigorous tender and independent probity and procurement process (totalling about 4,500 work hours), Deloitte was appointed with a proven track record of delivering successful integration projects of substantial complexity.

The team has been on the ground for three weeks and will continue to scale up working in close collaboration with staff from both universities to ensure the potential new university is able to meet key milestones on its way to opening its doors on 1st January 2026, pending the passing of state legislation and other legal and regulatory approvals.

Statements of work have been commissioned around immediate priorities to support the transition planning, including:

  • integration and transformation oversight, project management and quality assurance
  • business process design
  • systems integration
  • change management; and
  • communication frameworks.

The coming weeks will bring many opportunities for staff to engage both formally and informally with the IMO as additional subject matter expertise is called upon to support transition planning for the proposed future institution.
