Cidi Labs DesignPLUS

Cidi Labs DesignPLUS will be available to all MyUni course authors on 20 May 2024. This is an updated version of the Design Tools interface. The rollout will not affect any existing MyUni course content previously created with Design Tools.

Some improvements are:
* More intuitive user interface
* Additional tools to enhance look, feel and delivery of content
* Additional features such as walkthroughs and vendor guides to aid first-time users
* Improved accessibility checking tools

To use DesignPLUS in MyUni, open the Design Tools sidebar settings and select 'Try New Version'. Pages previously created with Design Tools can be upgraded to be compatible with DesignPLUS. Please be aware that once pages are upgraded, it may be challenging to roll content back to its previous version.

LEI has developed a MyUni page resource as a focussed and bespoke introduction to the upgrade and its features within the University of Adelaide Canvas. This page also includes videos that walk you through some of the features in DesignPLUS.

Dates for online workshops run by the LEI Capability Development Team are listed on the "Uplift your MyUni pages with Cidi Labs DesignPLUS" web page.

Upgrading to DesignPLUS is not compulsory.
