Provost's message
This Friday, the 17th of May, is IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination. This date commemorates the anniversary the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases in 1990. Prior to this, homosexuality was classified globally as a mental illness.
Launch of the Empowered Educators Professional Learning series
All staff who teach or support learning are invited to join the Empowered Educators series, designed to support teaching quality and the facilitation of student learning in the age of Artificial Intelligence.

AU WAATU basketball finals
The men's AU WAATU team has secured a spot in the UBL finals, facing the University of Melbourne in a quarter-final showdown on Wednesday 15 May at 2.30 pm. The UniBar will be live streaming the finals or you can watch it via UniSport TV.
Adelaide University Transition Council update
On 8 March 2024, we announced the establishment of the new Adelaide University and its governing body, led by Ms Pauline Carr as Chancellor. As activity to build the new Adelaide University intensifies and the Transition Council settles into its important role, there has been a change to its membership to manage workload effectively and to strengthen the governing body.

Early bird registration: HiTeMP-4
Early bird registrations are open for HiTeMP-4: High Temperature Minerals Processing Forum (Monday 21 October). The HiTeMP forum brings together 200 delegates from industry, research and government agencies to accelerate the transition to net zero for high temperature industrial processes. Its unique focus fosters cross-industry learnings, new circular-economy opportunities and the establishment of industrial hubs. Register.
Cidi Labs DesignPLUS
Cidi Labs DesignPLUS, an updated version of the Design Tools interface, will be available to all MyUni course authors on 20 May. The rollout will not affect any existing Design Tools content.
