Co-creating the Personal Health Research Strategy
On Friday August 16, the Research and Research Training Domain held a Research Strategy Virtual Forum spotlighting the Personal & Societal Health Signature Research Theme (SRT). Thank you to everyone who attended online and actively participated in the Q&A session. Your questions and feedback have provided valuable insight to help further develop this strategy, and we are excited for the next stage of co-creation with university staff.
Over 200 staff from both universities attended, and we were delighted to share the progress made on this SRT and present the key components of our Draft Personal Health Research Strategy. If you were unable to attend or would like to watch the session again, please view the recording on the Adelaide University interim staff intranet. You can also view the slides online.
As discussed in the forum, the Draft Personal Health Research Strategy aligns with the Adelaide University Strategic Ambition and Direction 2024-2034 and will guide Adelaide University’s future direction for Personal Health. A Societal Health Research Strategy is in development for consultation later in 2024, and these two strategies will come together within the Personal and Societal Health SRT.
We invite all staff to provide feedback on the draft strategy and share new ideas and concepts that may elevate it and allow it to truly meet Adelaide University’s ambitions. To facilitate this co-creation process, we are launching an IdeaPlace Challenge, where you will be able to comment on all sections of the draft strategy and submit new ideas.
To participate, please visit the Adelaide University interim staff intranet for more detail.
We look forward to your feedback on this draft Strategy and shaping the future of Personal Health for Adelaide University and South Australia.
