Casual engagement essentials series
The HR Branch is running a series of education sessions titled Casual Engagement Essentials. Attendance is encouraged for timesheet validators, supervisors and hiring managers of casual staff but is open to anyone else involved in the casual engagement process. See the HR News page for details on upcoming webinars. Sessions will provide information about our obligations and various strategies we can use to support our casual workforce. 2025 University of Adelaide International Fellows announced

Data capture and surveys with REDCap
If you would like to enable secure and reliable data collection forms, manage online surveys, and benefit from web-based data entry for your study, this beginner-level workshop will introduce you to REDCap, a rapidly evolving web tool developed by researchers for researchers. Parenting facilities on campus
Comfortable parent rooms are available at all campuses with change tables, feeding chairs and other facilities for people caring for young children. The newest parent room at North Terrace campus is on the ground floor of Union House and along with the standard facilities, also includes a junior toilet, toddler play pen, microwave and sink. The parent room on level 8 of the Hughes building has recently closed. See all rooms across the University.
Support available for staff looking to embed Aboriginal perspectives
The Library offers support that can assist staff to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives. Staff can work with you to assess, recommend and advise how to embed diverse perspectives within your context. If you are interested in this service, book a dedicated session to explore your options. Unisuper introduces 360Health
Unisuper has partnered with Metlife to provide the 360Health platform. This virtual care platform enables access to medical experts via Teladoc Health in a variety of disciplines. All UniSuper members and their family can access 360Health at no cost to gain advice from a clinician, mental health provider, or nutritionist. Further information.
