Council News
The University Council met on Monday 2 December 2024. The Chancellor reported on key activities and an update was provided by the Vice-Chancellor. A summary of the meeting is available in the latest issue of Council News.
Celebrating our colleagues: Bruce Lines
Here at the IMO (Integration Management Office), we have seconded staff from both universities. One of the things that I have learned is that culture can change rapidly, in the right conditions. So, when people do have a shared goal, when people are collaborating to achieve something, a new culture can emerge quite quickly.

LabArchives Love Data Week

R is the programming language of choice for statisticians, data scientists and researchers. This introductory course is designed for beginners, particularly if you've never programmed before. Tuesday 18 to Wednesday 19 February, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Online. Register.
De-cluttering Canvas
De-clutter Canvas with Cidi Labs TidyUP and Atomic Search. Over time, courses can become cluttered with duplicated files, outdated content, and unused pages. TidyUP simplifies the cleanup process by scanning your Canvas course for unpublished pages and unlinked files, allowing you to delete them efficiently. Monday 10 February, 11 am to 12 pm. Online. Key dates for Planning, Development and Review (PDR)
The PDR process provides the framework for meaningful career conversations and goal setting. Combined final review and objective setting conversations are due by 14 February. For those who completed their final review in 2024, objective setting is due by 28 March. More information.
