The University of Adelaide has achieved much since we released our Strategic Plan, Future Making, including the historic step to create the new larger Adelaide University. Executive Dean’s message

This year, the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences has already witnessed several achievements including the launch of the third year of the new medical program and the growth in numbers of students commencing our Allied Health and Psychology programs. Importantly, continuing student numbers in the Faculty are tracking above the last five years of trend, which is a real testament to the quality and reputation of our offerings.
Provost's message

On 8 March 2024, through the operation of the Adelaide University 2023 Act, the new Adelaide University was established. This landmark moment is another significant step towards the commencement of our new institution on 1 January 2026.
Australian Rover Challenge

The Australian Rover Challenge (ARCh) is an annual robotics competition held by the University of Adelaide, where university students from across Australia and around the globe, battle it out in a full-scale Lunar mission, using semi-autonomous rovers that they have designed and built themselves.

University enters top 100 in QS worldwide rankings

The University of Adelaide continues to be recognised as one of the world’s top universities, with the release of the 2024 QS World University Rankings. The University has been ranked 89th in the world, moving up 20 places from its position at 109 last year.

Student Experience Survey

The 2022 Student Experience Survey national results are in, and the University has improved in all focus areas, with students' rating of the overall experience up from 74.3% in 2021 to 77.6% in 2022.
