Strategic Conference Sponsorship Fund
Four conferences were recently selected through the Fund: Porous Semiconductors Science and Technology - Pacific Rim (Associate Professor Abel Santos), Reclaiming Heritage: The Repatriation of Stolen Cultural Objects in the Post-Colonial Era (Dr Ania Kotarba), 2025 International Conference on Resource Sustainability (Professor Jian Zuo), and The 20th International Conference Advanced Data Mining and Applications (ADMA 2024) (Dr Wei Zhang).

Five-year partnership to boost foundational AI research in Australia
The University has announced a new strategic partnership with the Commonwealth Bank and the creation of the CommBank Centre for Foundational AI to advance research and bolster Australia’s AI capability. The five-year partnership will further enhance the research and education offerings of the University’s Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML). Read more.

Celebrating the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduates
Fourteen First Nations students will graduate from the University of Adelaide this semester, and their accomplishments were celebrated at a special event hosted by Wirltu Yarlu, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Unit at the University. Read more.
